Drafting Projects
Residential House
In high school, I took Advanced Drafting classes all four years, and was introduced to the world of architecture and interior design. I was also exposed to programs such as AutoCAD, SketchUp, and even Solidworks, programs that I consistently use to this day. Although I already knew I wanted to be in the design field, this drafting class is where I started to develop and refine my skills and passion for design.
I designed this residential house my junior year of high school and created a full set of construction documents senior year. The set includes detailed floorplans, elevations, sections, roof plans, landscape design, electrical plans, wall details, kitchen plans and details.

Occupying Space
High School | 2013-2014 | Medium: Pencil, Hand Drafting

This Introduction to Architecture course at Temple University in high school was my first abstract architectural project. First, I did a study of the hand occupying space. Each of the drafted hands were then overlapped onto each other and scaled onto a larger 18” x 24” drawing, showing how each position of the hand all occupy the same general space. Finally a 3-D model was created with chip board along with a section view, top view, and front view. This whole process taught me the basic relationship of how a moving object occupies space.
