My Experience at IA

Within my time at IA Interior Architects, I learned about designing corporate workplaces. Working with Senior Designers, I learned about the different amenities, and how to organize programs within a space. I worked on many programming diagrams, workplace strategies excel sheets, rendering perspectives and plans, technical Revit drawings and test fits, presentation packages, and participated in multiple design charettes.

Role included: 

  • Create programming diagrams

  • Render perspectives and floorplans 

  • Develop floorplans in Revit for test fits of office spaces 

  • Pick up redlines 

  • Create finish schedules

  • Specifying office furniture 

  • Prepare client presentations 

  • Participate in design charrettes

Design Options

Looking at different programming options, I worked in a team of four people to develop these series of design options. My role was developing the concepts and creating the plan diagrams below. Working with one of the technical designers, we created the isometric diagrams and perspective renderings. I was also responsible for creating the client presentations using InDesign for the weekly meetings with the client.
